Clean Marine Group (CMG) is delighted to announce we have completed a $1.5m match-funded loan, and a $615,000 technical cooperation agreement, with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), to create the first Port Reception facility in the Bahamas, under the UN’s International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) regulations.

The clean port facility in The Bahamas will create around 45 permanent jobs in Grand Bahama.

The $1.5m was match-funded by CMG’s Bahamian investors bringing the total investment to $3.6m, and CMG hopes to secure a further $10m of investment on top of existing capital contributions, amounting to a further $4m.
